I collaborated with The Sourcing Factory to put together a fun-sized lettering activity during the roaring Gin Festival, organised by Food Talk India in September in Delhi. In the middle of a secret, invite-only Sunday brunch at the gorgeous Grammar Room (and before the gin started flowing), brunch-ers got a quick crash course in using brush pens.
Workshops & Events
Recap: a two-day workshop at my alma mater, NIFT New Delhi
Workshops & EventsCommentIt was a special feeling to be invited back to my old college, National Institute of Fashion Technology, six years later. The workshop was for third semester students of my old department, Fashion Communication, as part of their Letterforms module. It spanned two days and was a wholly fulfilling experience.
Recap: Pretty little kits and a happy vibe at the April workshop
Workshops & EventsCommentMy second workshop of the year happened on 29 April, this time at the newly-opened Agenc Colab studio. It was a bright and open space in Delhi, perfect for zoning out and getting lost in calligraphy. We learned to use brush pens and did an almost crash-course in modern calligraphy. I finally managed to put together some comprehensive workbooks for use at the workshops and the students loved them.

The beautiful brunch titled “The Lost Art of letter Writing” for women who write, was organised by HomeGrown in the perfect location possible—the courtyard of Olive Bar and Kitchen.
