How to write with brush pens
As you start the workbook, you will first read some important instructions and tips-and-tricks for using brush pens. Then you will practice some drills to get comfortable with the brush pens and learn to control the tip.
How to learn modern calligraphy
You will then proceed to learning lowercase and uppercase letters in the modern calligraphy style, one-by-one, with appropriate tips and motivations. Then move on to making full sentences and do some practice.
how to keep practicing hand lettering
Once you know this style by heart, you will get to explore some other variations of modern calligraphy and learn how to vary the styles yourself. The workbook continues with some more full alphabets in different styles that you can continue practicing even after the workbook is over. It ends with some inspiration in the form of final artworks.
how to use the workbook
I recommend printing the lessons on normal printer paper in black and white. I recommend using Zig Fudebiyori or Zig Bruhsables as brush pens. Or any brush pen you already have will suffice.
